Have your awnings cleaned year-round!
Awnings should be cleaned year-round including during the rainy mouths to prevent permanent mildew staining. “Rain will Not clean you awnings." This is a misconception. -
Proper upkeep of your awnings
Awnings should be cleaned by hand 3-4 times a year to uphold life, warranty, and appearance of awning and to prevent embedment of dirt, debris and mildew that causes irreversible staining and damage. The consumer is responsible for normal care and "frequent cleanings" of fabric for Sunbrella to up hold warranty. -
Avoid Pressure washing
Avoid having your awning pressure washed - it only permanently frays and weakens the material which causes the material to sag & collect dirt. It also blows out the seams and causes tears in the fabric and voids warranty.
